Automatic Live Chat Invitations

Chat Settings & Routing

To ensure fast and accurate communication, LiveAgent assigns chats to agents who've had previous communication with chatting customers. Besides random assignment, there's also 3 other options for advanced chat routing.

  • Max Utilization - If an agent doesn't reply to a message in 30 seconds, the chat will be routed to another agent.
  • Ring-to-all - The chat will start to ring to all available agents (the ones who have a vacant chat slot).
  • Max Utilization - This setting will assign chats to agents who have the highest number of chat tickets opened. If the agent’s maximum number of chats is reached, chat tickets will be assigned to another agent.
